Grad School: Year One

My first year of grad school came to an end on May 6th. I have been promising many people that I would get my work from the last two semesters up on my blog for some time now. I have learned so much at University of Tulsa this year, and it's been a mind blowing experience! I think the biggest things I've learned is that being a photographer and designer is a great combination for printmaking. The following images were all hand printed (except for one) in an edition of (typically) 20 or less. If you have any questions let me know. In the caption I put how it was printed with the number of colors.  The first ones here were a collabrative project between me and 2 other graduate printmaking students at University of Tulsa. We picked the theme of apocolypse; which made for some fun interpretations. We each come from very different artistic styles, so putting all of our styles together is really interesting.

Anyway, I think that's enough back story. Enjoy!
